We Care about the Environment

Jazz Car Wash & Detailing is a proud member of the International Car Wash Association’s WaterSavers program – the car wash industry’s premier association focused on environmental sustainability and accountability related to the use of water in the car wash industry.
Since our inception in 2007 we have focused on reducing our fresh water consumption, demand for electricity and use of natural gas. The result of our efforts have enabled us to reduce the overall consumption of water by over 3 million gallons of fresh water annually through the installation of one of the most advanced water reclamation systems in the country. This reclaim system allows us to reclaim, clean and reuse 100% of the water used in the car wash process. On a wash by wash basis we now use 80% reclaim water and 20% fresh for soap and wax applications as well as final rinses. Our wash now uses less fresh water per car than if you were to run your garden hose for 2 minutes.
Our power consumption has been reduced by 45% from 2007 to 2012 thought the installation of high efficiency lighting, photometric sensors and other equipment upgrades which both manage their draw on power or have more efficient motors which use less power. All HVAC systems have computer controlled monitors which self manage the settings based on time of day and desired operating climate.
Few people are aware that taking their cars to a car wash is often more environmentally friendly than washing their vehicles at home. Jazz ensures any waste water does not run off into rivers and streams, and we strive to use products that are environmentally responsible whenever possible.

Blitz and Randy Stein with the Colorado Rangers

We had a fun day at Jazz today with Blitz and his owner, Randy Stein with the Colorado Rangers. We provided a full detail to their truck after they had accommodations made to support Blitz’ travel needs while on duty.

Founded in 1861, the Colorado Rangers served as the first statewide law enforcement agency in Colorado before evolving into an unpaid Auxiliary in 1941 to became known as the Colorado Mounted Rangers

The Colorado Rangers Law Enforcement Shared Reserve (CLER) was formed as a statewide government and P.O.S.T. Certified Law Enforcement Agency supporting 58 Law Enforcement agencies and governments throughout Colorado.  CLER operates under the original 1861 agency name of Colorado Rangers with Colonel Ronald Abramson as Agency Chief.
